I read on her blog Robin Slick (Julie and Eric's mom) is a little miffed that promoters are not billing these shows as The Adrian Belew Power Trio and/or that the Slick's aren't mentioned as performing. Sounds like it's been happening ever since they've been performing with Adrian. Guess I can't blame her because the Slicks are fantastic! She should be proud. (For those who don't know Eric and Julie Slick are alumni of Paul Green's School of Rock in Philly, they are only in their early 20's and have been touring with Adrian for three plus years now. They play well beyond their years!). Thanks to Toad's for hosting the show though, was a very fun night, but note to promoters. ;-)
